What Barajas is like
Airport district with quiet residential areas (Alameda de Osuna, Barajas pueblo) and abundant green space. High safety and family atmosphere. Limited public transport outside line 8; aircraft noise in areas under flight paths. Contained prices. Ideal for flight crews, airport staff and families who prioritise tranquillity and space over proximity to the centre.

Elongated district centred on calle Arturo Soria, with a mix of blocks, detached houses and neighbourhood commerce. Good metro connections (lines 4, 5 and 7) and a mature residential atmosphere. Mid-range prices and some heterogeneity: quieter to the north, denser to the south. A good fit for established families and professionals seeking stability and contained prices without straying too far from the city core.
